AZCFSE - State Fire Training
MISSION

The mission of the  Arizona Center for Fire Service Excellence  is to plan, develop, deliver and administer state-of-the-art continuing professional education courses and accredited testing and practical skills evaluations, based on national fire service professional standards, which meet the comprehensive training needs of fire and rescue personnel, emergency managers and other responders utilizing the most efficient and effective means possible, thereby enabling them to better protect lives and property within their communities.

IFSAC Accreditation

In September 2013 the IFSAC Board of Governors voted to approve accreditation of the Arizona Center for Fire Service Excellence for four levels: Hazardous Materials Awareness, Hazardous Materials Operations, Firefighter I, and Firefighter II.

Thanks to everyone who participated as a Subject Matter Expert, Proctor, member of the Advisory Council, part of the Self-Study group, or in any other way to help make this happen.

We have updated our Certificate Request Form for the people who received AZCFSE Firefighter certifications between Spring 2010 and Spring 2013.

Those certified instructors wishing to conduct programs on behalf of AzCFSE or for AzCFSE recognition

The Adjunct Instructor Application, along with all required supporting documentation must be submitted to AzCFSE and will be reviewed by the Instructor Review Committee.

All Authorized Adjunct Instructors must also complete the "Instructor Orientation Program" online prior to conducting any programs or workshops for AzCFSE certificates or certifications.
See the "Instructor Orientation" Page to view the program.
