To be eligible to test, students must have successfully completed an approved Arizona Certification Program within the past year. Students have 3 attempts to pass certification testing after completing a certification program. If unsuccessful after 3 attempts a student must complete another program to test.

To schedule to test contact Melina Joya at 623-333-6501 at least one week prior to your requested test date. No walk-ins will be allowed to test. Students need to be added to the roster before they will be allowed to test. Refer to the schedule below.
Important information about testing opportunities: The majority of testing opportunities will be in May and December as the semesters end. Testing is only added to this schedule after the date has been confirmed, usually about 3 to 6 weeks prior to the test. Check back often as this list is usually updated at least once or twice each month.
Firefighter I & II written exams
Monday, February 13th at 9:00AM: Glendale
Friday, February 24th at 6:00PM: Coolidge
Friday, March 30th at 6:00PM: Thatcher (Safford area)
***Written tests will also be held at the Avondale Office at 9:30AM on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in addition to any times and locations listed above. Call to schedule at least one week prior to the test date. No walk-ins will be allowed to test***
Firefighter I & II practical exams
Monday, February 13th at 1:00PM: Glendale
Saturday, February 25th at 10:00AM: Coolidge
Saturday, March 31st at 9:00AM: Thatcher (Safford area)

(1.5 hour tests unless otherwise noted: Instructor, Inspector, Driver Operator)
