Fire School Night at the Hall of Flame

The Hall of Flame will offer special evening hours from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8th so that firefighters attending the Fire School have the opportunity to visit the world's largest museum of firefighting. In addition to a diverse collection of fire apparatus dating back to the early 18th Century there are displays of firefighting equipment and memorabilia. Of special interest is the National Firefighting Hall of Heroes. Don't miss this opportunity to visit the Hall of Flame. There will be no charge to visit the Hall during this event. The Hall of Flame is located at 6101 E Van Buren.
Fire Apparatus Display / Custom Car Show / Family Block Party
Friday, September 7 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.
This family friendly part of Fire School began in 1987 with impromptu fire apparatus displays. Now, from that humble beginning, the Show and Shine has grown to be the centerpiece of the family get together. Shiny, but hard working, fire engines, ladder trucks and special duty trucks will share their dazzling display of red, white and yellow with tricked, painted and polished hot-rods and street cars of yesterday and today in the air conditioned Main Hall and on the South Patio of the Mesa Convention Center. The free show
will run from 6:00 -10:00 p.m. on Friday September 8th. There will be food avaiable for sale and entertainment. Bring the whole family !

Phoenix Marriott Mesa Hotel
The International Association of Arson Investigators will hold their annual general board meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday September 10th at the Phoenix Marriott Mesa Hotel. IAAI members and anyone interested in becoming an investigator are welcome to attend. Contact the Fire School registration desk for specific location information.
Fire School Raffle
Saturday, September 8 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

The non-profit Arizona State Fire Training Committee will hold a fund raising raffle at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11 in Ballroom D of the Phoenix Marriott Mesa Hotel. Items donated by training committee members will be raffled to support FireSchool activities. This is a fun, fast-paced raffle and everyone is welcome to attend. Ticket holders MUST be present to win. Raffle tickets may be purchased in the main lobby of the Mesa Convention Center or from any Committee member throughout the Fire School.
T-Shirts, Hats & Raffle Tickets

The Training Committee will be selling Fire School t-shirts, hats and raffle tickets to raise funds to support scholarship programs and statewide fire service training. Items for sale will be available in the lobby of the Mesa Convention Center throughout the school or may be ordered online during the registration process. Be sure to purchase these items early - before they sell out !

The Mesa Community College Virtual Incident Command Center (VICC), located across the street from the Marriott hotel, is offering two 4-hour incident command sessions from 6:30-10:30 p.m. on September 6 and 7. CLICK HERE
